Schinoussa is a wonderful island, located southeast of Naxos and it is probably the wildest of all the Small Cyclades.
Measuring only 9 sq.km, the main center is Panaghia, a beautiful village with its white houses and tavernas on the top of the hill.
If you really want to isolate yourself from the World, this island is your ideal destination. Here, too, you can reach every day one amazing beach, the most famous is Psili Ammos with its turquoise water and fine sand.
When you’ll arrive with the ferry, you’ll fall in love for the small amazing harbor of Mersini, one of the most beautiful harbors of Cyclades islands, a real paradise!
There are some amazing beaches like Livadia, Tsiggouri or Psilli Ammos and the water is absolutely transparent and calm.
The Chora – Panagia is up on a hill with an incredible view. This center is really small and there are some nice taverns and restaurants where you can enjoy a typical Greek dinner.
You have to visit the beautiful church of Evangelismos which celebrates its name day on the 25th March.
